These drives have not been tested by Anodyne Software, but are reported to work satisfactorily with ExtenDOS Gold by one or more of our users.
These drives are believed to provide these facilities when used with ExtenDOS Gold; however, they have not been tested. If you have used ExtenDOS Gold with any of these drives, please contact us so that we can update this information.
These drives are believed to provide these facilities when used with ExtenDOS Gold; however, they have not been tested. CD recording will not work on these drives at this time. If you have tested ExtenDOS Gold with any of these drives, please contact us so that we can update this information.
This drive has a firmware bug that causes system hangs when writing large amounts of data per I/O. Use the "limit data transfer switch" of ExtenDOS Gold to bypass this problem.
The Yamaha 6416 (and possibly other drives in this group) has a firmware bug that causes CDDA data to be returned out-of-sequence when reading large amounts of data per I/O. This can occur when copying an audio CD track to a hard disk using the WAV files that represent audio tracks. Use the "limit data transfer switch" of ExtenDOS Gold to bypass this problem.
ExtenDOS Gold implements the SCSI-3/MMC and ATAPI/IDE standards to communicate with compliant CD-R and CD-RW drives; therefore any drive that follows these specifications should work with ExtenDOS Gold. Unfortunately, some drives (particularly the less expensive ones) contain firmware bugs that may prevent ExtenDOS Gold from functioning properly.

If you're not sure whether a specific CD recorder is compatible, or if you have any updates to our compatibility lists, please contact Anodyne Software.
